Mendy Gregory

With more than 30 years in banking and financial services along the Destin and Santa Rosa Beach markets, Mendy Gregory has built her career and her life right here on the Emerald Coast.

Mendy began her banking career as a teller and worked her way through nearly every facet of community banking, including new accounts, branch management, loan operations, and construction lending. For the past 16 years, she has specialized in mortgage lending, bringing a depth of experience and a practical understanding of the lending process that has made her a trusted resource for both clients and real estate professionals throughout the Florida Panhandle.

Now with Sympli Mortgage, Mendy is able to pair that experience with an extensive range of lending solutions. In addition to traditional Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA financing, Sympli offers a wide variety of non-QM programs, giving Mendy greater flexibility to help Realtors and their clients find solutions for lending scenarios that may not fit inside the traditional box.

For Mendy, being part of the real estate community extends well beyond the closing table. She serves on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity of the Emerald Coast and is an active member of the Emerald Coast Association of Realtors, where she serves on two committees. She is also a member of the Women’s Council of Realtors Emerald Coast and previously spent five years serving on its Board of Directors.

Mendy has called Destin home for more than 30 years and raised her two sons here. She and the love of her life, Jason, have been together for 18 years and share a blended family of four children, now ages 20, 20, 21 and 22. A lifelong local, Jason has worked as a commercial real estate appraiser in the area for 25 years. Together, their family has deep roots in the Emerald Coast and longstanding ties to its real estate community.

For Mendy, mortgage lending has always been about more than financing a home. It’s about relationships, being a dependable resource for her Realtor partners, and using decades of local knowledge and lending experience to help find the right path forward for each client.
